  Primary Purpose

  Under the general supervision of the RWS IP division and RWS China, to engage in outside sales efforts to generate new business for the Company while maintaining presence with existing clients.

  Essential Functions

  ·Develop the domestic market

  ·cording to the company development plan, collecting from time to time the information regarding the market development in China, developing business scope and communicating with new clients, under the guidance and coordination of the sales director, achieve goals of business development in designated areas.

  ·Develops a thorough understanding of RWS IP division’ products, services, clients, and processes.

  ·Identifies and contacts potential new clients, schedules and attends individual client meetings on a regular basis to successfully garner new business and projects.

  ·Schedules client visits on a regular basis for the purpose of developing new relationships and expanding the Company’s client base, as well as retaining existing clients and business.

  ·Attends industry conferences and events as requested to enhance knowledge of the industry, keep current on trends, and garner business.

  ·Responds to client questions and concerns, follows up on quotations.

  ·Assists in the completion of RFPs for the purpose of obtaining new projects.

  ·Engages in research for the purpose of expanding personal and Company knowledge of industry trends, best practices, marketing and sales, etc.

  Additional Duties

  ·Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with and manage prospects and clients.

  ·Standard work schedule as needed to successfully achieve sales target, and meet client needs, including a reasonable amount of overtime as necessary.

  ·Good written and oral English.

  ·Organizational and time management skills.

  ·Excellent customer service skills, including ability to communicate clearly with clients and resolve customer issues or complaints.

  ·Ability to report work orally or in writing to supervisor as required.

  ·Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form, with attention to detail, and to work with minimum supervision.

  ·Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, Office 365/Skype, etc.)。

  ·Ability to prioritise and problem solve job-related issues.

  ·Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding company financial and other information.

  ·Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work; teamwork and consensus-building skills.

  Qualification Profile

  ·Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  ·Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or other related field.

  ·Successful outside sales experience (IP translation or language industries preferred; minimum two years experience preferred)。

  ·Demonstrated excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  ·Demonstrated excellent client relations, interpersonal and communication skills.
